Megan Lasseter

Megan Lasseter is the founder and sole practitioner of The Lasseter Firm, P.C., a Richmond Hill law firm focused on residential and commercial real estate law.

A Georgia attorney with years of experience handling real estate transactions throughout the coastal Georgia area, Megan represents buyers, sellers, lenders, builders, developers, investors, and business owners in matters ranging from the everyday closing to complex title and property issues. Her practice includes residential and commercial closings, title examination and resolution, contracts, leases, easements, boundary and access matters, and other issues involving the ownership and transfer of real property.

Megan believes good legal representation should be both knowledgeable and practical. Real estate transactions often involve much more than documents and signatures—they involve homes, businesses, investments, family property, and significant financial decisions. Her approach is to identify problems early, explain them clearly, and find a workable path forward whenever possible.

Before founding The Lasseter Firm, P.C., Megan practiced as a partner with Dixon & Lasseter, Attorneys at Law, P.C. The transition to The Lasseter Firm marks a new chapter in a practice built on the same relationships, experience, and commitment. 

Megan spent most of her life in Athens, Georgia, graduating from the University of Georgia in 2007 with a B.S.Ed. in Interrelated Special Education and received the academic honors of Dean's List, Merit List, and Presidential Scholar. Megan went on to graduate with a Juris Doctor from Faulkner University, Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2009. Megan has been deeply rooted in coastal Georgia for almost a decade now, and is proud to call Richmond Hill home. She is a mother of three boys, Tanner, Easton, and Hayes, and can usually be found working on a project at home, in her garden, or enjoying life near the water.

For Megan, the practice of law has always been about more than completing a transaction. It is about taking care of people, protecting what they have worked for, and being someone they can trust when the details matter.
